Re: Evaporator sensor location and replacement

Perfect, thanks a lot!
Missed that you have an EU model. This shows a 2015 REx - USA. Would think it is still set up the same - but if it appears not to match when you get into it, ISTA displays according to VIN. If you PM me the last 7 of it, I can look up again specific to the car.

Sneaky BMW  The 'new' My BMW App was recently rolled out - much the same functionality as the old one, though added the charging alerts which is nice. Then last night tried to log in, and got shunted to a page with two check boxes for new Terms of Use. Under the BMW Connecteddrive Terms of use...

Re: Connected Services Ending - Offical

Me, also, for our 2014 i3. I just don't believe that no 4G upgrade exists. According to the BMW Dealer parts lists - it exists. A check of the 'what it fits' list shows that this is a universal part, which fits all BMWs including all years of the BMW i3. BMW claiming that an upgrade 'isn't availabl...

Re: Used BMW i3 Inventory - Good or Bad news?

but starting with 2020 model sales in US crashed while European sales started to hit higher levels. Mainly caused by the shutdown of the BMW i3 manufacturing due to the pandemic which severely cut back on production numbers. Once restated, new production went first to the EU to meet both demand, an...

Re: "Increased battery discharge when stationary" and other errors

Most BMW mechanics should be able to do the battery swap, if they have access to the online BMW service docs for the steps. Involves taking out the frunk box for access to the battery, which sits behind it on the passenger side. Also not hard to do it yourself, following several YouTube videos on th...

Re: Connected Services Ending - Offical

Someone posted on FB that initially BMW sent the same kind of letter to BMW owners about the switch from 2G to 3G, but enough people complained, that they went ahead and offered the upgrade.
