Re: Factory 2015 i3 EVSE "power fault" lit up, covered under factory warranty?

But, if you have a 15A supply and circuit breaker, unless it was run with 12g wire, you SHOULD NOT install a 20A receptacle, as you could overload the wiring opps, Thanks for adding that, I should have put that in. Most house wiring done or upgraded in the last 15 - 20 years should be on 20 amp bre...

Re: Factory 2015 i3 EVSE "power fault" lit up, covered under factory warranty?

Their are reports from more than a few owners of these units failing withing a year or two with any steady use. They seem to be a copy of the one built by Clipper Creek - but manufactured by Delphi Auto Parts. I'd try your Dealership - but I've seen postings where the Dealer refused to replace them,...

Re: Connected App in UK

The reviews on both Google Play, and the Apple App store are all over the place - seems a lot of them are wireless/network connectivity issues, or "Why doesn't it do THIS!" complaints. I have it on my iPhone and have had no issues with it at all, other than the initial set-up. I tried to set up the ...

Re: Auto car wash, ok?

Yes - but follow the steps in the manual: From the manual: Before driving into a car wash In order to ensure that the vehicle can roll in a car wash, take the following steps: 1. Drive into the car wash. 2. Engage selector lever position N. 3. Remove foot from brake pedal. 4. Press the Start/Stop bu...

Re: Battery capacity issue

Is the range shown in the "guess-o-meter" accurate to actual driving? - If you are fully charged, set your trip-counter, and compare it to the guess-o-meter range - a difference would point to a software issue. If actual and guess'd range are spot-on, then a hardware issue. Since you have already tr...

Re: i3 EDrive External Sound

There are a couple of companies that have "engine noise" makers for electric cars, ranging from ridiculous (and expensive) big-block v-8 simulations, to more standard silly engine noise generators. I think there are a few companies looking at modifying existing electronic deer alert sound generators...

Re: Battery degradation driven by aging, charge cycles and charge current

Wow, thanks for posting this. Very interesting, and like you say, counter-intuitive, as a lot of the anecdotal real-world evidence points to heat as a major culprit in premature battery degradation. A lot of older Leaf's with poor to non-existent battery management software in AZ are prime examples....

Re: Weathertech Floor Mats- FRONT & REAR $149 shipped

I looked at Weathertech, and a few other similar mats. Then I found Broadfeet mats. They are custom-fit, look way better, waterproof, and easy to clean.

I ordered the Black & Gray, and they look really good. Front and rear are $135.99 with free shipping.
