Re: 30 amp charging rate - car set to low

I tried this a while ago to see if it would help fix a charging problem I was having (it didn't). Looking at the notes I made at the time it charged at 4.5kW.

Re: Customer Treatment

I ordered in November 2013 and had delivery early May 2014. Yeah, I don't think the lead times have increased really. The vast majority of owners have had a similar long wait (August to March for me). I suppose the difference is we didn't have people driving around telling us how great the car is w...

Re: Can you order winter tyres in the UK for the I3

i cannot find the winter tyre option? is it possible to add this? I'm not sure if it's possible to add them to be fitted as standard (winter tyres aren't really supposed to be on all year round?) but it is possible to order them in the UK. I have a set of winter tyres fitted to the standard 'easy c...

Re: REx is not a panacea!

In day to day use I also find that I am driving many more pure-EV miles than I did in the Leaf. Why? Because you get to gamble more without any of the downside - rather than switch to an ICE car you can throw the dice in a Rex and take that trip at the end of the day which is on the edge of remaini...

Re: Connect drive not updating

the app successfully connected to connect drive but it took ages sending to vehicle and ended with 'Error while connecting with the vehicle','try again'. I experienced this a few weeks ago. I wondered if the car was failing to get a signal in my garage so I tried driving to a different location but...

Re: MY FIRST, LONG AND DISAPOINTING DRIVE

I bought the REx very much because I'd read enough public charging horror stories on the Leaf forums. Same here, I wanted the BEV but the i3 is my only car and the more research I did about rapid public charging the more obvious it became that you can't rely on it 100% for the long journeys so REx ...

Re: REx is not a panacea!

Well said San-Serif. the figures and hypotheticals don't stack up against my real life experience. It's quite easy to think all sorts of things whilst you wait for your car (I remember some daft threads here discussing the REx a few months ago, before any of us had even driven an i3) but some of the...
