Re: Newbie Question - Finding miles used with ReX !

Well, found my problem. Assumed ConnectedDrive and iRemote were the same, Seems BMW iRemote has been discontinued, and these "deeper dive" stats are not available in ConnectedDrive (at least not yet)

Re: Newbie Question - Finding miles used with ReX !

You can use iRemote to find out electric miles
Wow - cool info - or would be - does not seem to be an option on my iRemote. No choice for statistics on the Efficiency screen. Wonder if the app varies by country??

Re: Newbie Question - Finding miles used with ReX !

It would need to be in "hours of operation" , not mileage, as the Rex doesn't drive the car's wheels, it powers an electric generator to add charge to the car's battery pack, to extend the car's range. Looking at the service manual for the Rex engine itself, don't see any reference any kind of recor...

Re: Factory 2015 i3 EVSE "power fault" lit up, covered under factory warranty?

But, if you have a 15A supply and circuit breaker, unless it was run with 12g wire, you SHOULD NOT install a 20A receptacle, as you could overload the wiring opps, Thanks for adding that, I should have put that in. Most house wiring done or upgraded in the last 15 - 20 years should be on 20 amp bre...

Re: Factory 2015 i3 EVSE "power fault" lit up, covered under factory warranty?

Their are reports from more than a few owners of these units failing withing a year or two with any steady use. They seem to be a copy of the one built by Clipper Creek - but manufactured by Delphi Auto Parts. I'd try your Dealership - but I've seen postings where the Dealer refused to replace them,...

Re: Connected App in UK

The reviews on both Google Play, and the Apple App store are all over the place - seems a lot of them are wireless/network connectivity issues, or "Why doesn't it do THIS!" complaints. I have it on my iPhone and have had no issues with it at all, other than the initial set-up. I tried to set up the ...

Re: Battery capacity issue

Is the range shown in the "guess-o-meter" accurate to actual driving? - If you are fully charged, set your trip-counter, and compare it to the guess-o-meter range - a difference would point to a software issue. If actual and guess'd range are spot-on, then a hardware issue. Since you have already tr...
