Re: Annoyingly short central console....seriously??

On the other hand the space between the front seats makes a lovely change from conventional cars bulbous transmission tunnels and gives a sense of a much more spacious interior, the i3 feels much larger inside than any other car close to its size that i have sat in. Cant please everyone i suppose.

Re: i Remote on Apple Watch

I would like to be able to tell the car to pre-condition in 1 hour/ 2hour/ 3 hour etc. This would save having to enter the exact departure time and date each time. This would be even more useful via the watch perhaps?

Ecotricity medium charger Ikea croydon issue?

I tried using the Ecotricity AC medium charger in Ikea croydon yesterday and could not get the car to charge. The charger appeared to be working and accepted the Ecotricity card and tried to start charging but my i3 issued the warning: Mains power too low. Unable to charge. Insufficient power from t...

Re: any UK Bev'ers completed a 300+ mile journey?

I would think carefully before undertaking such a trip in a BEV. As noted in the Ecotricity thread today i did a shorter journey (125miles) in my Rex yesterday and stopped at 4 Ecotricity DC chargers in a row. None worked. None worked on the way back either, although i only tried 3. I was able to co...

Re: Ecotricity

I tried my first long(ish) trip in my sixth month of ownership yesterday. Just under 130 miles from home in surrey to Bristol (for the hifi show) and stopped at 4 Ecotricity DC fast chargers on the way up the M4. None worked, with only one being labelled as such. I am bitterly disappointed that the ...

Re: UK i3 options

I got the upgraded navigation mainly for the bigger screen and love it. However if the basic system lacks Real Time Traffic Information then its worth upgrading just for that, it has saved me hassle several times and always seems very accurate. The driving assist is very good too, you soon get used ...

Autosock

I wondered if anyone had any experience with Autosock (or similar) products with their i3? I am having trouble finding a fit for the Rex with 175/60 R19 wheels. I thought investing in winter tires or even chains might be excessive in the relatively temperate south east of the UK, and perhaps the aut...

Re: ConnectedDrive features gone after SW update

Dear BoMW,

Thank you for the tip! I had lost connected drive features (App, send to car, RTTI etc) for 5 days and was ready to trek to dealer for a fix.

This worked straightaway, thanks again!

Re: Lexus attacks the i3. Photoshops out the truth

Well spotted!

Quite a cynical stunt from Toyota, would have expected a more honest approach.
