Re: Is your air con cold?

Actually Sprinty, I'm thinking exactly the same thing. I did read somewhere that cars get transported with the AC turned off and the dealer has to turn it on before delivery so I was wondering if mine hadn't been done. Can't believe I hadn't noticed for 2 months but, like you say, it's only just the...

Re: Speed Limit indication

The i3 must use a combination of the two because it will update when there is no sign to read from. It'll also update if you go through temporary roadworks (from the signs). Can't say I've seen it displaying incorrect speeds from the signs on lorries, it's an accurate system IMO.

Re: Parking Assist & Driving Assist not happy

does yours work OK say at 7 am when the sun is out?... until the sun is high in the sky mine just will not engage Admittedly I don't really have a commute that sees me driving directly into the sun very much but I'm driving early mornings every weekday (6:30am) for about 18 miles with the ACC on fo...

Re: Parking Assist & Driving Assist not happy

Paul, you shouldn't accept what they are saying. Yours needs fixing because the system isn't as bad as that. I've probably used ACC for about 1500 of my 2000 miles and I've had it drop out 3 times in total (twice when I exited a dark tunnel into bright sunlight). Even at night and in heavy rain it i...

Re: Speed Limit indication

It's a REALLY useful feature, so why not have it on the i3? It is available if you spec the Driving Assistant Plus option. It uses the camera in the rear view mirror housing to read the traffic signs and is very accurate. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mNdqgc-HNP8/Uqt8FwWEhSI/AAAAAAAAFjg/dQZit8SCJD4/s16...

Re: Range Question

I think that's due to battery behaviour when it's under load. At that point when you arrive home the battery has been under load/ pressure from the trip and still shows the range as if it will continue the trip. Hours later when the load/pressure has reduced because its been switched off the range ...

Re: Range Question

Ooo ... i had a funny yesterday. .. i started up with a healthy 71 eco plus miles range (97%) for my 64 mile journey home. On exiting the car park my range plummeted to 51 miles... Sounds familiar. I was hoping that the more I used the car the more I'd get used to the range available but I'm findin...

Re: Arravani Gray, have anyone got one?

Plug are you happy with the Arravani? I have one on order being delivered next week and having a bit of wobble on the colour - thinking I should have gone for the metallic Hi Mezzadm, I'm certainly not unhappy with Arravani but I think Laurus looks better :) For me, I had a limit to how much I want...
