small white triangle above battery symbol

In the last week a white triangle with an exclamation mark inside has appeared above the battery symbol. (bottom left of the screen immediately facing driver)
Cannot find what this is --everything seems to be working absolutely fine.
Any thoughts anyone before I phone BMW

It's a check control warning. Go to the center dash computer screen and look for Vehicle Info/Status to read the message. Most common, I think, is a reminder message/warning of an approaching "take me in for scheduled service" date.
