My first BMW i3 was unfortunately totaled by a kid running a red light. I was able to get a good deal on a second one a few months ago, but it is missing the tire inflator setup that belongs in the frunk. I'm not having much luck in my search for one, other than to pay the insane price for a new one from BMW. Does anyone know if this is a common BMW part with any other cars? Alternatively, can anyone point me to a junkyard that specializes in BMW? The other alternatives I've considered are third-party inflators, or just carry a couple of cans of fix-a-flat. Any other ideas or suggestions would be welcome! I'm in the USA, by the way.

I would carry the cans of Fix-a-flat, a good tire pump, and a good dial-type tire gauge. It is worth paying extra to get a good gauge. The plastic gauges, especially the ones that pop out a numbered bar, are just about worthless. Digital gauges are OK if you first verify them against a good gauge. I bought my gauge at a truck stop store and it is of professional quality.

What about looking for this one to replace it?

They won't ship it but it seems awfully cheap given the actual replacement tire inflator is over $100:

That first one is just the "Tire Inflating Bottle 719010", the goo that seals the tire. It isn't much use without the air pump.

Here is one on ebay - for the M model, but pretty much the same kit as in the i3.

Better to buy a tire plug repair kit than to depend on tire sealant which could ruin the tire inflation pressure sensor.
