I have a 2015 BMW i3. I bought the Veepeak OBDII and Bimmercode. I enabled the option that mirrors fold in when locking the doors. For some reason, the car alarm will randomly go off after locking the doors with the FOB. I understand that this maybe unrelated to having the mirrors fold in when locking. This one drives me crazy when I go to lock my doors, the alarm goes off 10 seconds later.

Ideas?

If you are leaving your Veepeak OBDII plugged into the OBD port, the alarm will sound. This can be disabled by changing a module parameter value using BimmerCode, but that might reduce the security of your i3 a bit.

It's true that I have been leaving the Veepeak plugged in the i3. I will remove it and give it a shot.

Thanks!
