i3 takes on Volt

Fri Sep 25, 2015 3:15 pm

So I was out at Toronto Motorsports track with a buddy of mine doing laps with an Ariel Atom, thanks to the guys of GTA Exotic rentals and the guy who ran the program had a Chevrolet Volt. We chatted for a bit about EVs here and there then we decided it to have a shot a the track.
I can tell you was a lot of fun, a ton of body roll I felt that I was back on a Citroen 2CV.
I can sure say I enjoy it, I was too exited that I forgot to remove traction control or put the car on roller mode so I lost quite a bit of power due assist tech intervening. Anyways here it is. :D

Looks like Volt and its more "normal" form factor and tire size is walking away as much as other cars on the track would let it.
