Hello, I just purchased 2017 Bmw i3 Range Extender model.

I wanted to know how can I figure out if the door handles have led?
Is there a special package required to have ambient lighting + door handles led?
 
You can get your spec by putting the last 7 digits of you VIN number into this website and pressing DECODE!

I think from memory that the lighting options were associated with one of the interior packages but can't be sure of that. If you've got them, they should come on when you unlock the car in the dark. Not sure you can switch them off.

Thanks for the respond.
Spoke with a bmw genius today he told me that the deka world does not have this feature usually the highest option models have it like the tera world.
Also thanks for the website just checked it out great website!
