My 2005 Yamaha 1300 FJR is a very quick and fast motorcycle. It also has the benefit of an app that tracks lean angle and acceleration, among other things.
So, let's do a little comparison between it and my 2015 i3. First gear (you know what I mean), rolling start from 10 km/hr.
Results:
FJR: 4.76 m/s2
i3: 5.33 m/s2
Bottom line: a lot quicker in the car. Lean angle advantage to the motorcycle, however.
