So as I have written in my older thread, I just had a drivetrain issue last year while I was driving in a highway. Very scary. The car could start again after aI pushed the start button again but it stopped in some seconds again.

Gone to the service point, checked and decided that it is the EME unit. 6.000€, BMW good will, 740€ final price.

Next, in about a month, as I got in it at a morning, same again. Drivetrain issue, and no charge. After a while I tried again and everything seemed fine.

Of course I got it to the service point again, this time they told me I had a bad charging installation at my garage and I destroyed KLE. I brought a specialist to check my garage and everything was fine. KLE changed, 1700€ but BMW good will and i gave (only!!) 760€ again.

After the last incident it was March and here in Greece we have a moderate climate.

This year again, when the rain started, again I had a drivetrain issue.

Took it to BMW and they told me it was nothing!! No error and no damage!! They also told me to take a video if this happens again so they believe me!!!

Of course happened again and I took a video and they believed me... Now, they say, there is a drainage hole on the right front drainage path (??) where, when it rains, a small fuse gets wet and provokes the peoblem and they have to close it.

So I changed everything, and also got bullied and payed a cast amount of money to tell me today that there is a small hole????

Has anybody knowledge of such a construction fault??? Also, what I can do for all my trouble? Any advice??

I've heard that some people have had an issue with water getting into the frame and sloshing around. BMW, at least in the USA has a service bulletin telling the dealer how to resolve this if it occurs...essentially, they tell them to actually drill a hole in a specific place so it can drain. SO, in this case, it's adding a hole versus plugging one. Don't know if the problems are the same, or different.
