I have a 2019 i3S with CarPlay. I consistently have problems with music transmission to the car breaking up. The music goes silent for a second or so, 3 or 4 times during playback of each track. Very annoying!
I place my phone in a vent-mounted phone holder, which I would assume is a pretty good position for signal. The phone is an iPhone X running latest iOS. Bluetooth music has no problems, but then I can’t use CarPlay for nav. Hope someone can suggest something to try?!
