I have a questions regarding my installation of winter tires on my i3S. I bought a set of used 19" rims with brand new Continental winter tires and installed them. No problems so I thought. Then I came across a blog that stated that the 19' rims installed on the i3s require a spacer (15 mm) because of an issue with interference. My model is a 2020 and from what I can tell there is lots of clearance.

At least 1/2' (one finger fit) between the tire the shock absorber. This is the only area that I can see would cause rubbing. I have driven the car without this knowledge and haven't noticed any scrapping noises or any issue that I can tell. Thoughts??

OK just found out from a response on the Facebook, world wide group...don't need spacers. A couple of others have i3S and installed winter tires without problems of interference with the front suspension.
