Anyone seen this?

Apparently the GM Clipper Creek L1 unit can charge at either 120v or 240v.

The BMW L1 charger, with an adapter might instantly do L2 charging without the need to buy an upgraded EVSE.

Has anyone tried this/opened up their EVSE to take a look? Let me know what you all think.

I expect it does, but haven't tested it.

I also have an ID.4, and plugged its included 10 amp/ 120 volt EVSE into 240, and it works — at better than double the rate.

The logic is these are used all around the world and it's simplest and least costly to have one mainboard that's adaptable, and just add the cords / plugs necessary for the destination market. So if you search for 220 / 240 volt versions of the BMW OUC, you'll see they look identical.

In the name of discovery I'll plug mine in later today and confirm it works, since I have the adapter already made up. I'll be sure to report back.
