Any plans to do type 2 mennekes? Or ChaDeMo to Type 2 CCS?

Pity that the Chademo to Type 2 adapter from Tesla uses it's own signalling rather than homeplug green, a fairly simple physical adapter for Tesla Type 2 to CCS would have been great.

Personally I've replaced the supply side of the the BMW portable charge cable with an IP68 plug and socket system and I have swappable Schuko, UK and 16A 60309 2P+E connectors.

If Jesla was available for Type 2 I know at least five people including myself who would be willing to put money down for a pre-order.

Actually is there any reason we can't use the european Tesla UMC?

No reason at all that is obvious, but there may be an issue. It appears that Tesla still uses J1772 signaling, expensive with a Menekkes plug.

I can't physically buy the EU version of the UMC, however. I've tried numerous times.

I have Menekkes Type 2 plugs in stock, and we're building a J1772 adaptor for Tesla cars in Australia.

Go buy the EU - Tesla UMC and lets make that work!

No plans for anything CCS this year.
