Being a BMW i3 owner in Turkey

Fri Aug 28, 2020 6:33 am

Due to different marketing strategies, different climates, different tax systems and even different cultures, every region or country probably have some specific problems about their EV to discuss.

That is why I wonder if there is anyone from Turkey here to share our experiences with each other.

Thank you,

I3 owner here since 2018. It is my first EV, I still own it and love it. My experience with it is mainly positive. I tried both level 1 & level 2 charging at home, and I seldom use level 3 chargers that are in malls. Though we would definitely benefit from more charging locations (especially in intercity, highways etc.), it is a lot better than I would have expected. Charging rates are unreasonable but from what I read online that seems to be a common issue everywhere.
