Loud fan running over 30mph

Yeah so a fan runs when your running hVAC system and going over 30MPH also I noticed that it’s totally quiet when you plug it in usually you would hear a compressor kick on so I’m assuming that it’s a compressor issue. Also no AC. Please if you know a hack to fix this I would be grateful not going to the dealership. 2014 BEV 34000 miles
 
At risk of stealing i3Alan's thunder, any odd noises or behivior with regard to the AC, definitely take it in. Look up his posts. That's one repair that can potentially bite you hard.
