Hello All:
I had to do an emergency stop today with my 2019 i3s where I stomped on the brake pedal and applied full braking until stop.
Luckily no accident but when I arrived home and pulled into the garage, my brake pedal or brakes started making this creaking/squeaking sound. Not the pads...the actual mechanism...even when stationary. Every time I press down on the pedal, the creaking/squeaking occurs.
Anyone have any idea what it may be? Stress? Over-heating? Damage to the regen system/solenoid? Etc. The sound of the brake compressor also seems more than before.
I'm at a loss myself.
