Mapping BMW i3 Owners

I am active over on the BMW i3 Facebook Group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/BMWi3/

And some of the members have shared their location in the world in a thread and I used Google Fusion to make an interactive map:

If you are interested in participating, please post your name and location (town/city & state & country) and I will add you to the map. I will only show your first name, but if your city is a duplicate, you name will now show at all. So accuracy works best.

(edit - looks like you have my wife's name (Sarra) in there from the FB group - she beat me to it. But Decatur is technically more accurate than Atlanta)

Hmm. Some zoom levels don't show uk i3's.

Wouldn't this be easier if it were set up for folks to add themselves? Someone set up a similar Map for New England Electronauts, and we were able to add our own information in.

I have been thinking abou that, so I will investigate this weekend. When I get time I'll add the rest of you to the map. I also want to publish a table of the city/state locations.

OK, I updated the map with the new folks here and a lot of other over on the BMW i3 Facebook group. The link is active so you do not need to be a member of Facebook or this forum to actually view the map. I investigating opening this up for self-editing but the tool I use (Google Fusion Tables) required me to specify people by name. Anyway, I don't mind doing it while wating for my i3 . . . still at the port in DE. I think I fixed the UK zoon issue but let me know if it needs corrections.
