Steering assistance turned off today very heavy

My 2017 REX ( tech pack, auto park, 9/16 production) did this today. Super heavy (felt like no assist) on center, but full assist on any "real" turning. Went away after I turned ignition on and off

Has anyone who's had the software updated had the issue repeat after the update?

What's the cause very weird and possibly dangerous

You just made a mistake - You really need the stiff center on the steering on the I3 because due to the steering system tall height and narrow tires the I3 is over sensitive at center at high speeds. In fact I sold my old 2015 I bought for my wife for that reason. Newer cars now have a tight center which helps prevent unwanted inputs and over-steer at high speeds.
