I have a 2015 i3 REX US model which does not have the "hold state of charge" feature enabled.

Does anybody know where I can get the software modified so this feature will work?

I also heard you can get the fuel tank volume increased from ~ 1.8 to 2.2 gallons.

I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

You need the BimmerCode App, and an OBD dongle to connect to the car.

After that, it's as simple as clicking on selection buttons in the app.

Is there a dongle or OBD scanner you would recommend? I see lots of blue tooth scanners that are pretty cheap.

Thanks for the help!

On the Bimmercode sit, they have a list of the ones they have tested to work well with the app and the BMW ODB II ports. ODB ports all meet a 'standard' but each car manufacturer will have their own additional port protocols.
