Had my 94aH i3 for 9 months now and warmer weather has meant that economy and range have been improving.

Latest commuting run hit 5.8 mi/kWh (Oxford to Slough) over 47 miles with average speed of 41.4mph.

What have other achieved?

Regards,

Paul.

Tuesday I set the trip meter and ended the day with 93.2 miles on our 2014 BEV before recharging (15 miles remaining). Average speed was 38.9 mph (quite a bit of stop and go city driving) and 6.1 miles per kwh. I live in Wisconsin and with the warmer weather my trip meter runs, usually around 100-150 miles over several days, have been between 6.0 and 6.4 miles per kwh. 52 miles on Tuesday was to a destination that I routinely travel to and I use roads with minimal traffic, long stretches without stop signs or signals and speed limits of 45 to 55 mph. Route planning, and using the cruise control, can make a big difference in range and efficiency.

Using the cruise control's functions, even if you know where you want to go, can help choose the most efficient route. IT takes into account the terrain (rise and fall), the speed limits, traffic (if you have that option), and the distances to help you decide the best route for either speed or efficiency.

Just bought my 2015 rex last week. Mostly stop and go traffic, no highways, perfect 60-75 degree weather.

First week I was averaging 6.2 miles/kwh. Guessometer at full always estimates 102 miles. I get free charging at all my job sites so the lowest I've gotten down to was 42 miles left and about 40% battery remaining. Seems accurate so far.

Was actually averaging 6.3 today all day over 30 miles of driving around on my day off. I drive in Eco+ just because I normally have a lead foot and it helps me avoid tickets in this little rocket.

Can't wait to see how bad Midwest winter's affect mileage, but since I get free charging 5 days a week I doubt it'll hurt me much. My average drive is 22 miles round trip and the worst is 36 round trip.

Did 117 mile trip this week with 20% SoC still showing. Mostly 40-50mph A roads following eco route on Nav but not desperately flat. Range was estimating a total of 142 electric at the end although it had hit 150+ at one point. I was getting hungry so started speeding up

Sunny 22c, fully charged and preconditioned in comfort mode @ 20c all the way. Impressed with that. Oh and I charged my iPhone from flat to full :D

Disaster on way home as two nearest rapids were blocked, third failed during charging giving me 50% to get home and final rapid charging station had been removed unbeknownst to me. Ended up Rexing last 60 miles home
