We'll be placing an order for my wife's i3 in the next few weeks (as soon dealers get their allocations here in the USA), and the only choice my wife has yet to decide is color. I threw together this graphic from the USA configuration site http://www.bmwusa.com/standard/content/byo/byohome.aspx?namodelcode=14IB so she can see the choices side by side:
They are out of the order presented on BMW's site because they are listed by personal preference top left to bottom, then top right to bottom. Note that the Laurel Grey is actually darker than the Arrivani grey in real life, and is why it is our top choice - minimizes contrast with the black hood, top, and hatch.
