Hi,

I came across this video of the i3 Rex on YouTube. A very positive review it was too, though the presenter doesn't seem to understand that driving round a closed road like a lunatic will have considerable impact on the range.
See what you think.

Good to see it chucked around. However, he also didn't read up properly

- It takes 8-10 hours to charge from a standard socket
- BMW quote 7.2 secs to sixty for the BEV not the REx
- He quotes the weight of the BEV as the weight for the REx

He also rather annoyingly states the one to get is definitelty the REx. In reality this depends on circumstances and for me, it is definitely the BEV.

Thought it was a good report about the i3 and yes he makes a few ‘schoolboy’ errors re specifications such as charging time, 0 to 60 and weight specs. However, I do agree with him about the BEV v REX option - but that’s probably because I have ordered a REX! That said, until there is a good DC charge network I would not buy a purely electric car unless its range was around 200 miles as I don’t want to be overly constrained on my journey choice.
