Don't flame me for being reckless, it was all on private land with my own cars! Excuse the shaky camera though.

OK Andy. Next I want to see you do it from the back seat using a stick to depress the brake!

Nice one Andy. You could have added an outside view for the "marks out of 10" judging!

Cheers

Bill

Hey thats really neat... Demontsrations of the i3 tech are hard to come by... but really addictive when you find them.

Nice Andrew! Can you tell me which options you went for? Which options you should have gone for? Which options you regret going for?

I've practically fully loaded my order bar the KK audio, might have gone overboard, thanks

It's a nicer day today, so I might go out later with a stick, Tom :) It can't be done from outside though, you have to keep your finger on the button all the time while it reverses in.

BoMW - I think I'm happy with my spec, although I wish you could just get front parking sensors by themselves; the rear camera and the self-parking aren't really necessary IMO, except for making stupid videos :). I didn't get a sunroof, don't like them, and I'm not an audiophile so the HK wasn't needed. I like the full leather for not showing the dirt, and the driving assist is great (I spend a fair bit of time in traffic). I might in due course regret not getting the DC charge option, but when I ordered there seemed to be little chance of DC stations being installed in the UK anytime soon - but that seems to have changed recently, with talk of an extensive rollout in 2014. Also I would have gone for a different colour to Andesite - it looks ok in some lights, but has too much brown in it, in others. HTH!

Hi Andy,

nice one :) !
Having used it as a 'party trick' a couple of times yesterday, one thing struck me as a minor issue: after the first S-curve backwards, the steering is on full lock. When preparing to drive forwards, the steering is turned lock-to-lock with the brakes on, which does't seem very nice for the tyres when on grippy surface, judging by the sound. What is your assessment so far ?

Regards, Steven

Hi Andy...would be great to see more driver assist.. particularly the auto driving in traffic bit... but please stay in the car... lol... thank you lots....

Except for the shaky camera Andy, I always park in the left front seat!

But then how do you keep your sword hand free? :D
