TMPS not working

Fri Apr 30, 2021 5:46 am

I have a 2014 i3 REX. I've tried to reset the TMPS system a few times but it's still not working. Is there a module in the car that reads the tmps sensors on the tires that may need to be replaced?

What exactly do you mean by 'not working'??

I'm pretty sure there is a sensor in each wheel well.
Did you drive a few miles after resetting? When I change from Winter to Summer wheels/tires it takes a few miles of driving before the actual reset occurs and there is a percentage display that shows how far along the reset is as I drive.

You can also look at the valve on your wheels to determine whether you have TPMS or your i3 uses the ABS sensors to compare rotation rate Left to Right . The TPMS valves are metal with a nut securing them at the base . The others valves are rubber .
