Excessive power use?

So here’s a fun one. I was nosing around in the BMW app and had a look at the charging history. From what it’s telling me, this month we had done 750 miles using 458 kWh. This seems slightly excessive to me. That’s 1.7 kWh/mile rather than what I would expect at about 4.

Does this sound plausible? Is it possible for the car to just eat power somehow either when plugged in or not?

Mine is a 60 Ah REX from 2015 with about 75k miles on the clock.

That is excessive. Any chance you have preconditioning set up on a frequent schedule and were in an excessively hot area this past month?

Alternately, the consumption showed on your dash should be reflective of driving activity only. Is that figure also excessive?

I do have preconditioning turned on. The dash suggests 4mi/kWh
