Hello,

Last week I changed my winter tires for summer tires.
At both front wheels I discovered that the protective rubber covers around the shock absorbers (inside the springs) were defect.
At a German E-auto forum I discovered that I'm not the only one having this problem.
My i3 is three years and one month old and I've driven 47.000 km (little over 29.000 miles).
Anyone else here facing the same problems?

Yes I agree!
I noticed mine were starting to crack too. ( but not as bad as yours )
The car is a 2015 with 18000 miles

I have my 2nd i3. This time full electric with 44 kWh Battery.
And again after about 50.000 km (in approx. 2 years) the protective rubber covers around the shock absorbers (inside the springs) Are defect.
They were replaced under guarantee.
But it seems to me that the quality of these parts is questionable.
