Oil and filter change at home

My ReX needs an oil and filter change. If I do this at home, how do I let the computer know it’s done? I have a Bluetooth coding device, is it as simple as using that to reset some code to let it know the service has been performed? How to reset the Service Indicator?

I have an Autel MD802 code reader that allows me to input new dates for various types of service. Your procedure appears easier than using a code reader. I use a pen and the blank pages at the back of the owners manual to keep track of service. Old fashioned but very easy. Dealer in Toronto charges far too much for service.
