Would like to fast charge US model in Europe.
Ready made cables are from USD 877. That is near USD 500 more then price of it's components.

It seems that I would be able to do it myself if I have it's pinout.

Looking for pinout of CCS Type 1 to Type 2 fast charge adaptor.

At the moment it seems that buying type 2 socket USD 160[1] and type 1 CCS plug USD 142 [2] and 50 cm of wire is much cheaper then USD 877 [3]

So my inquiry
A. Looking for pinout of CCS Type 1 to Type 2 fast charge adaptor.
B. Probably I can use existing type 2 to type 1 cable along with DC separate cable. Is there plug sockets only for 2 wire DC part? What is there type\name?

Unfortunately, I couldn't find the pin assignments for the 2 DC pins in CCS Combo Type 1. It's probably a better than 50% probability that they're the same as in CCS Combo Type 2 :D Maybe you can verify this by searching more cleverly than I did.

If it is that simple, why it is + $500 from components price?

No competition.

Most people don't know how or want to build their own adapter.

Probably better to replace the U.S. charging port with one from a wrecked E.U. i3.
