Truly enjoying my first EV experience with a 2018 i3s. The range is great for my normal 25 mile round trip work commute and even longer trips to the coast (90 miles each way) on the weekend.
While I could go for a 2019 i3s with the 44 kw battery, I'm finding it tough to find one with the same options (Tera, larger screen, blue seatbelts, HK sound, heat pump, etc).
What do you all think? Will BMW or third parties potentially offer a battery upgrade service now that the i3 is out of production? I have to imagine there is some market for this in the future with 250K i3 units out there. Even if I had a 2019 with the 44kw pack, would be amazing to have 50kw or more to get 200 miles in a single charge (more on par with the current offerings).
