Beep every 30 seconds

2018 i3s - 12v battery just replaced

It started 1 second beep every 30 seconds.

Has anyone come across this before?

Checked for error coded using bimmerLink - nothing in errors - nothing interesting in warnings.

Car seems to run OK

Any ideas?

Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery?

Haven't heard of that before.

Where is the beep coming from, the audio system or the small speaker in the instrument cluster? Does the beep sound like a warning tone you've heard come from the car before?
 
perhaps someone dropped an Apple AirTag in it and it is in "Lost Mode". Or it is just alerting you that one that does not belong to you is "traveling" with you. Wild Guess.

I have the same problem with my 2015 I3, what did you find out?

I have a 2015 I3 Base and a few days ago it started to beep beep (twice) every 30 seconds continuously like what you had experienced. I have not replaced the battery yet. I charged the 12v battery but problem remains. How did you solve your problem?
