My trunk won't unlock with either key fob or button. I hear a click, but it won't unlock.
The trunk also shows as open so backup camera won't turn on for instance.

How can I open it manually?

This is a 2014 i3, electric only.

This might be the case . Something is caught under the hatch (rear door) and hence , the latch cannot release completely . My suggestion is to somehow press the hatch closed just a bit more . This action in itself could allow the latch to release completely . If that doesn't work then press the hatch again and this time initiate an unlock or opening of it at the same time , either by the FOB button or someone helping you by pressing the button near the driver's door . Let us know if that helps .
