This is a great car in the snow with the winter tire kit!
The charging ports is a major pain however. My Bev lives outdoors and is always connected to the grid to take advantage of preset preconditionings or cabin warming before heading off on an errand. The opened charge port flap allows snow and ice to accumulate to the point of my requiring to clean the latch and hinge areas in order to close the flap. The gasket around the flap also requires cleaning before closing.
A better design is required IMHO, simply redesigning the flap to hinge upwards with a rubber flap from the inner port area connected to the flap door to seal the areas below from freezing rain and snow would save me a lot of time digging out snow and ice before departures.
