    Is there a dongle or OBD scanner you would recommend? I see lots of blue tooth scanners that are pretty cheap. Thanks for the help!

    I3 not following delayed off-peak charging

    I am switching the on/off switch not the main power. The relay is rated at 30A which seems high, but the on/off switch is very low power just to enable the charger. Thanks

    Hold State of Charge Feature for REX i3s

    I have a 2015 i3 REX US model which does not have the "hold state of charge" feature enabled. Does anybody know where I can get the software modified so this feature will work? I also heard you can get the fuel tank volume increased from ~ 1.8 to 2.2 gallons. I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

    Sounds like a really good idea. I just ordered a "Programmable Timer Switch Time Relay Digital LCD" from amazon for $12 to wire to the on/off switch of my Bosch Power Max Level2 charger. I will post my results. I love my i3 but I am lossing my confidance in BMWs electrification.

    Thanks for the info. The next level 2 charger I buy will definitly be a smart charger. I am thinking of modifing my current Bosch charger by putting a timer on the on/off switch which I can set to the low cost time from the power company. I have to say the level of compitance I see...

    My 2015 i3 worked fine for off peak charging for years. Sadly it does not work now. I am not sure what happened. I have a departure time set for 7:50 am daily and Off-Peak Timer set from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Also, low cost charging set. There are a little 1 2 with circles around them. I...
