I got a WHOLE LOTTA problems, see video from my BMW dealer Drivetrain Error Motor Mount

That's not bad for a dealer doing the compressor. The only thing you should be aware of is that they may come back and find damage to the battery once they get into the project.

    Used car boosted rates

Yes, i3 values are exceptionally high right now. Seemingly higher than even other BMW models. I just sold mine to Carvana for more than I paid for it two-ish years ago. They do allow you to sell without buying from them, they either wire the money or give you a check. The ridiculous...

    Air conditioning failed

Your story sounds very similar to mine. I’m also in Palm Beach County and found a shop off Okeechobee Blvd (right up the street from Braman BMW ironically) that quoted me $3,700 for the repair. Hope all goes well with your repair.

    I had a 3G to 4G TCU upgrade to prove a point.

Yeah, I just joined the F30 forum on another site, they have this issue but nobody seems to really care. I think i3 owners use it a whole lot more because 1) we aren't paying for the service right now 2) it is very handy with preconditioning and checking charge status.

    BMW Apps

There’s one called mi3 on the Apple App Store. Never used it, but apparently it can do similar things.

Detached Garage EVSE Installation for On-Street Parking...

Sorry to threadjack, how do you like the id.4? And how does it compare to the i3?

    Odd Pump Noise

The compressor is definitely making a noise that suggests replacement is necessary. The quote to replace the compressor and condenser alone was going to be almost four grand. That was enough for me to not have them open everything up and check for metal shavings. After doing a lot of test...

    Odd Pump Noise

Well, I'm officially on the list of unfortunate souls too. My repair costs will be a significant portion of my initial cost of purchase, so it's time to move on from this one. I'm really of the opinion that these are great cars overall. It's unfortunate, but not entirely unexpected that the...

    Odd Pump Noise

I have a shop scheduled to look at it next week. Best case: I’ve been reading too many Internet forums and have a case of “autohypochondria”. The part itself looks to be around $1500, yikes.

passenger seat belt warning (and a used-vehicle warranty question)

Let’s not get factory and CPO warranty confused. If you’re still under the factory warranty you should be able to take the car to the dealer and have any repairs covered. If the car has a CPO, from my past experience, I recall you have to submit a form to transfer the warranty for a $200 fee...

    Odd Pump Noise

Believe me, in the grand scheme of things, even though it may not be cheap, if I can avoid writing off the car that’s a win in my book.

    Odd Pump Noise

Unfortunately that’s where the sound is primarily coming from. Are there symptoms or precursors that come before catastrophic failure? I wonder if it can be mitigated before it gets out of hand.

    Odd Pump Noise

So I have begun to notice an 'unhealthy' sound coming from my i3 when it's running and charging. It almost sounds like some kind of circulation pump is not doing so well. Of course my paranoia of reading about compressor failures and other costly issues are all coming to mind. I've included a...

    Connected Services Ending - Offical

On another forum, there’s an i3 technician who said that while the parts and coding is possible, BMW will not be allowing people to register the new telematics module with them.

    Connected Services Ending - Offical

Letter writing to BMW corporate HQ? What would be really good is if they all came in within the same week.
