I'm selling my 2017 BMW i3 REX fully loaded with beautiful interior. Includes 20 premium wheels, automatic cruise control, wood dash, sunroof, large navigation screen, and Harmon Kardon sound. Car has 102,797 miles on it but it’s been taken care of and still gets over 100 miles of range in...
Yeah, I am taking the car to the track though, so I’d really want to know for sure that it’s going to be as sticky or stickier. I’m considering the S001 also.
Yeah my concern is that they won’t handle as well. I’d like a lower cost tire that doesn’t trade away performance. I’m looking into the S001s potentially.
I’m running 4 x EP500 with 195mm on each corner. I bought rear rims 20x6” for the front too. I find that the consumption is a bit higher, like 3.2/kWh where I used to get 3.5/kWh.
I might try these next. I’m a little concerned about the consumption getting worse though and the handling.
I swapped the oil using Pipinos plug. A few things:
1. After 35k miles the oil looked almost new. Don’t really think this is worth it unless you just want to play around for fun. I think the oil is probably fine for 100k plus miles. In any case glad I did it anyway to clear the particles off...
Have you guys considered
The base stereo between pre LCI and post LCI is night and day. The LCI is about 90% of the HK tbh. It’s just missing mids at ear level and rear speakers tbh. It does some things better than HK, I’d still prefer the HK but after 2019 it got way better.
Is this an upgrade for the 2019 and newer LCI base sound system also? Or just the pre-LCI? I have an LCI and want to upgrade, but the stereo is already a lot better than the pre-LCI base. I’d want to make sure this is truly an upgrade for the LCI and not just the older cars.
Also have you...
So, just saw this thread. I do work in EV charging, specifically V2G and related stuff. Just a few thoughts.
Personally, I think the i3 could use a larger battery but also a better cooled motor. It’s a little down on power as is and the cooling is an issue if you’re driving quickly (for...

One other question: I assume you’re using some kind of pump to push the 500ml of liquid in. Is there a lot of loss there? Do you just add a few extra ml and call it good?
