Change to Android... everything works just fine.
At home we have 4 androids...even a kindle fire from Amazon - and all work on Wifi as well as USB cable.

At IKEA dijon, no authentication is needed... no card, no sms, nothing...just follow instructions.
I believe in most "malls"-like french charging stations is free...

Yes I did use the charger at Geneva Airport... When I do so, I use the Parking 51 - but it is a regular 220v domestic swiss socket. http://chargemap.com/points/details/aeroport-de-geneve-parking-p51 and most of the times, other normal cars are using those 3 places.

According to what BMW tech guy told me... my car accepts the "fast" up-to 16A... but there is a "super-fast" option which I don't have and charges the car in 1H...

I got a call from BMW Geneva this morning, and they received the order yesterday... they are installing it, but according to them, they need first to unmount several others, before being able to replace and then remount everything!!! So, not before next monday!
In fact,... my car does not have the fast charger (due to ignorance of the BMW commercial, which didn't explain what it was)... So I had the car plugged at IKEA for some 5 hours, and charged +-75% of the full batterie... when I arrived it was only left 3%

I've got my car i3+rex for 3 weeks... and 3200kms. Bougth it in france
I've drove +-350kms on 1st Nov saturday ... charged at a 22KWH during halfway...
When I arrived home, put it to charge on regular 220v... and at 80% loading it halted with "Charging Default"... Furtunatly it had enough...
I got My i3+rex 3 weeks ago here in France, and the rex engine can be activated manually - I even created a shortcut in the numeric pad...
Don't know why in US they have blocked it... seems stupid...
