Had this happen right after we purchased our 2016 i3. Luckily it was covered under warranty and BMW came with a flatbed. Hope you can get that 12v to charge. Good luck.

Thanks for the info on keeping the 12v charged. I've been driving the i3 for the last few days and have been leaving it plugged in so hopefully the 12v is now recharged.

Ours has been parked for a few months thanks to covid and our displayed range has dropped from 81 miles to 67 miles. How can I check the max battery capacity? thanks in advance. David

Just picked up a 2016 BEV with just over 10,000 miles. The range is not an issue for us as all of our driving is local. We have a level 2 charger at home and there are many local charging options.

US. The car is perfect for 90+% of all our local driving. 40-100 miles per day. Went BEV as there are many L2 chargers in the local area and we have a L2 charger at home. We have had a Tesla since the beginning of 2015 and the i3 was a great addition.

We just purchased a 2016 CPO i3 BEV from our local BMW dealer . Skipped the REX as we don't need it for our local driving. We searched CarFax and OffLeaseOnly while shopping. The pricing was all very similar so we went with the local dealer. I think we were driving the car home about 3 hours...
