I would seriously consider a small iDrive 4wd SUV (or SAV as BMW would call it) something smaller then the upcoming Tesla Model X. I like Tesla products, I just think they are too big.

I just posted a topic about the annoying double password requirement to access the iRemote app but I thought I would rather start a list of improvements that could be made to the app so here I my list of wishes 1-make password optional 2-show charging info (voltage, amperage, batt temp etc.)...

my iOS devices are already protected by a password so I don't understand why another one when opening iRemote. Nothing is sensitive in there - we can't even unlock doors... The worst thing one could do by accessing the app would be to precondition the car... I find this unnecessary password...

The preconditioning is overcooling / overheating the cabin so you don't have to cool/heat so much in the beginning of your journey. It is not defective, it is by design and I think it is a great feature as long as you are plugged in!

I also traded my E92 M3 for an i3 BEV in May and I love the i3. Who would have thought so many M3 owners would switch to the i3? The acceleration of the i3 is awesome. Now I dream of an i6 (sports coupe) that would be no bigger than a 3 series with more energy density and Tesla-like performance.
