    Parking Brake Autorelease

It's taken me a while to notice this behaviour (having had the car for nearly 5 months) - up until recently I just thought it was inconsistent. If you try to drive off (either in D or R) with the driver's seatbelt unplugged, the car alerts you to manually release the parking brake, however, if...

Rain sensor with auto. headlight activation has failed

The auto rain detection function is separately enabled by the button on the end of the right hand stalk. I was hoping that it would "just work" rather than having to enable it whenever you see rain though!

    Extra legroom in footwell

The section in the middle is really handy! Great for bags that you'd normally put in the passenger footwell - as long as they are not too slippery

Cleaning the high gloss black bonnet/roof/rear

I'll have to give that a go! The boot is glass so that's nice and easy to clean with Fast Glass :) The problem with the bonnet is that when it's sunny (even when it's not that warm) the water evaporates so quickly and the surface gets so hot that it's really difficult not to leave water marks...

Reboot whilst driving, stiff brake pedal and loss of regen

Yeah that definitely sounds feasible, hopefully it's something they will be able to improve in the future - I'm guessing they're collecting a decent amount of telemetry. Are the software updates OTA or do you have to go to a garage, how do you know if there is one available?

    Front Parking Sensors

Oh well, I'm about used to the tiny bonnet now anyway - it always feels like the front of your bonnet it touching another car/wall/post yet you're about half a meter away

So what ranges are you getting?

I haven't traveled any further than 70 miles in a single go yet (I haven't bought the public charging cable yet...), but I am seeing that, despite the pre-conditioning, the range is much higher and seems to fall slower now the weather is heating up. I get 3.6mi/KWh, using some quick "man maths"...

Reboot whilst driving, stiff brake pedal and loss of regen

I've had my i3 for slightly over 2 months (1.2k miles) now, I've noticed a few little niggles that have been mentioned on the forum (such as the loud clonk) and also these... Reboot Whilst Driving Luckily this has only ever happened to me once. Everything rebooted with the exception of the...

    UK electric tariffs

I received an email from Ecotricity today stating that if you are a customer they'd give you 1,000 miles worth of free electricity if you can prove you have an electric car (the 1,000 miles was based on a VW E-up! so I presume it's a fixed number of kWh).

Suicide doors not registering as closed

Software update? I wonder if my car needs one... Yeah I think they just need a proper slam - I haven't had a re-occurrence recently.

    Front Parking Sensors

Reckon BMW would retrofit the front parking sensors? ;)

    Customising order/extras - any tips?

+1, I don't have the park assist pack and the front is actually really difficult to judge. I tend to reverse park instead now (I never used to), it's very easy with the tight turning circle! :)

    Public Charging Cable

Okay so if the standard 13amp charger is more expensive than a public charging cable, then perhaps they should have given the option between the two?

    Public Charging Cable

Wallbox is £680 I think... rest is installation - I suppose you could argue a 1/4 of the cost is the tethered cable... The cable should have definitely been included with the car - does the Leaf come with one as standard?

    Charging Light

Yeah, I'd rather it went straight to blue rather than orange though - and at least the connector is locked - no chance of it being unplugged.
