Surge, the car isn't the issue. Most of the people on this forum bought the car because they really like / love the car. It wasn't based on some complicated rationalization of the range of the car, ....
I bought the car cause it is fun. Its a fun car to drive. The car stuff is great...
It also happened to me briefly. Seems like a rock got caught between the brake rotor and a sheet metal shroud (not sure what the proper term is for that part) on the inside part of the brake system.
Luckily my rock cleared out after going backward and forward hard.
It's a really bad sound and...
Took delivery in June.
Check engine light went on day 1 with car. It was a hot day; 90+ degrees.
- First software patch installed in July/August. Check engine light went off after patch.
- Took car in for my second software update after BMW called. They performed the fuel pressure sensor...
I dropped off my car this week for the software update.
In addition to the software update they told me there was a recall for the gas tank pressure sensor. It showed up on the invoice as "Campaign3" - "Recall F16 12 14 Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor" part number 16-14-7-426-661.

Aerovironment also makes solid units. The Turbo Cord...
Not sure if these do different things?
I thought precondition at departure setting preconditions the cabin. When set, it lights up a icon on the temperature setting dial.
Is the activate comfort climate something different? The set departure time instructions are right below it in the...

Just picked up the BMW mats.
The good
They are better quality than pictured.
Definitely easier to clean and more durable than the standard mats.
BMW i logo.
The bad
There is a slight gloss finish to them.
Also the color of them is more gray than tan.
If your really picky I don't think...
Not sure the VT DC Fast charger station works with the i3. Based on the pics it looks like a CHAdeMO charger.
