Same thing here in Virginia except the weather has ranged from 50F to 80F. My i3 REx has been perfect since delivery on August 11! I have driven the car about 1200 miles including a one-day 215 mile round trip out to the Blue Ridge mountains to pick apples.

Here in the USA, with the key in pocket the car (if turned on) turns off as soon as you open the door, even if you're in Park with the parking brake engaged. Annoying when having to move cars around in my (short and narrow) driveway! Have to hit Start/Stop again with foot on brake. The LEAF...

I was able to do it here in Virginia with the OCwF, 12k miles/yr, 60 months. My dealer claimed to have only one "voucher". The residual went from 27% to 34% in my case....~$3,600 higher based on the MSRP of my REx. As far as I know it worked as I took delivery last Monday and have 156 miles...

I just picked up my REx on Monday after waiting 6 1/2 months! :mrgreen: It was awesome driving home from the dealership (~5 miles in the suburbs with a few stop lights) without using the mechanical brakes :D

I ordered this same charger from Amazon on Saturday! Got it for $554 total including Virginia sales tax, free shipping from Amazon, and using a $50 gift card that I had lying around the house. An electrician friend that I know is going to help me with installation as soon as the charger gets here.

I got the email last night about the $1,000 off! However, it is based on a BMW drive event coming up at a dealer 100 miles away next weekend Aug 15-16. I have not yet received one for the i3 drive event (I drove it at both local dealers, actually - both different dealers than above mentioned...

Final discount for me will be close to $5k. I got the 7% residual increase "voucher" plus $1,000 off plus a set of Tera World mats (anthracite)....and hopefully the trunk mat/box also. Taking delivery of my REx on Monday!

Good deal! I am doing the OC w/ Flex option 60 months/12k per year as it makes my payment much lower than a lease.

I got the same deal today! But.....from what I understand this a very limited (quantity) offer only available in some markets :o . I just happened to be in the right place at the right time, I think. As of this morning, it was a "voucher" given by BMW corporate.

I am also taking advantage of this offer in my area. Sealed the deal today as my REx arrived last Friday 8/1! I was sworn to secrecy :lol: but I can say the offer is definitely "limited" and valid on both leases and OC/OCwF ;).

When did you get the email? I am about to take delivery of my REx! I attended the drive events for the i3 at both of my local dealers.
