Any one here ordered a Tesla Model 3?

The i3's ACC is a very primitive system. Most of these kinds of systems cannot detect stationary objects. They expect the driver to ... drive.

Any one here ordered a Tesla Model 3?

This problem is not unique to Tesla. The i3 has exactly the same issue with ACC. My i3 tried to slam into the back of a car yesterday in exactly the same kind of situation. I was doing my job as a driver and paying attention, so there was no collision.

Any one here ordered a Tesla Model 3?

I've had an i3 BEV for about two days and a Model 3 reservation since March 2016. I love the i3, but the Model 3 will let us get rid of our last gas-powered vehicle.

You should probably download the 53.5 data files.

how many with zero i3 problems?

Maybe I'm imagining it, but I think I read somewhere that the consumption figure included charging losses. Wouldn't that explain the difference in your calculated capacity?

    Changes for 2015 model

Having owned a few cars with rubber band tires, I have to agree that they're far more prone to flats and rim damage than beefier tires with taller sidewalls. If I end up with an i3, I'm planning to get the 19's. If I have to get the dealer to swap, so be it. The roads here in Houston are awful.

    Gap insurance & Owners Choice

If the vehicle is worth less at the time of the loss than you owe on it, you'll be on the hook for the difference unless you purchase coverage "gap" insurance, sometimes called loan/lease payoff coverage. Whether you are leasing or not makes no difference.

Yeah, I hate to say it, but it appears to be a better resource than this forum in many ways. Too bad it's Facebook.

    Changes for 2015 model

One would hope the SoC indicator will be offered on the 2014's. The rest is great news, especially standard DC charging.

    Changes for 2015 model

Yeah, I bought a '95 M3 in '96 on assurances there wouldn't be any more M3's in the US. About a month later some '97's show up. Car salespeople are the worst.

    Changes for 2015 model

Sales guys will tell you anything they can think of to sell you one of the cars they have on their lot right now. They don't know a thing about the 2015's. I'm hoping for CarPlay, but I wouldn't be surprised if the i3 carries over unchanged for 2015.

TORONTO Buyers Beware of Price Fixing!!!

It is compliant, and its capabilities have been strongly influenced by CARB. IMO, it's not fair to call anything a compliance car if it's sold and serviced in markets where there is no compliance requirement, the price is fair, the car's functionality is not compromised (lousy EV conversion)...

    Gap insurance & Owners Choice

That seems like a lot more than the extra $10-20/6 months or so my insurance company has charged me in the past for loan/lease payoff. Ask your insurance company, and don't be afraid to shop around. Disclaimer: I do not own or insure an i3
