I have had mine for 6 months and 4,500 miles with just 10% on Rex, but sometimes I have used the rex just to be sure of getting home (I did not always really need it) or to be a bit of a hooligan! It really is a difficult car to drive slowly. We have done a couple of 260 mile trips in that as...
The turning circle does make it a doddle to park. The auto park function is a complete gimmick for me. It will not park close enough to the kerb and takes an age to get into the space and so unless there is absolutely no traffic behind me I do not even demonstrate it. We parallel park every...
I wasn't told about a run in period so just drove it like I stole it and am now over 4200 miles with about 300 on the Rex, including one round trip of 260 miles. The steering is very "direct" and my wife sometimes complains that I nearly break her neck, but I think that is more a feature of...
So how much is "not cheap"? I used to have an E36 Alpina that ate rear tyres in about 16,ooo miles but was hoping for more from these, but I guess the instant torque is rather addictive.
Are you setting from your phone? If you just use the drag up menu for pre-conditioning you only heat the cabin. To heat the battery you have to use the other menu where you set a departure time, then it will pre-condition the battery. I understand it can take an hour or more on colder...
The CCS at Gordano (M5 Bristol) would not even work enough to say it would not connect. It just said DC not available. I noticed it was buzzing, so maybe someone had just used it. I have used it twice recently and it was OK. As I drive a Rex and did not need to waste time I just carried on -...
I have had trouble in the past - sometimes they will work and a few hours later the same one will not work. However, I have recently used the one at Gordano services on the M5 (a couple of times in the last couple of weeks and it has worked fine The last time was yesterday to top up from 55 -...

The heated seats are a must, but I believe will now be standard in UK spec for 2015 (part of the winter pack)
I have the park assist because my wife wanted the front sensor and the camera. It s a gimmick in my opinion because it takes too long and does not park as well as I can! The...
I agree Greengo. I did a 260 mile return journey to Plymouth in September. The CCS at Sedgemoor services worked perfectly and so did the CCS at Exeter services. No more after that so I used petrol for part of the return to Exeter where the exact same charger IU used on the way down would not...
I find them more responsive to fine rain (still not responsive enough though) but once it rains harder, i.e. larger water droplets, the auto wipe function is almost useless. I have a 330Ci that is much better and a Mk4 Golf GTi that is better than both.
