    Beat me to it.

    Real World REX mpg

So if my math is correct, at highway speeds that works out to about 40 mpg US. (48.8/1.2)

    Real World REX mpg

I just did an MPG test for the engine. Approximate Test conditions: Battery level: 50% Driving conditions: City, mix of 20,30,35 & 40 mpg roads. Climate Control: Off Air temp between: 40 & 65 Average trip: 2.6 miles Filled the tank to the brim with 93 octane Shell...

    Releasing Cruise Control

The easiest way to tell if you or the cruise control are adjusting the speed is to look at the status of the cruise control icon in the middle of the screen. Where there are the 2 inclined orange lines filled with an orange trapezoid, the car is controlling the speed (and an orange car shape as...

    Charging time question

Question about the charging point. Is this your personal charging point or a public charging point? If it's a public one, does it have more than 1 charging port? Can another car plug into the same port at the same time? The reason I ask is because if there are multiple charge ports on a single...

    Huge dropoff in E-Range

Have you tried accessing the hidden service menu to check your battery capacity in Kwh?

REX speeds for long highway drives

I'd also recommend shipping it. I've not doubt in your capability of coding the car, but you're basing the whole trip on that working first time as well as being able to find a gas station every hour. This sounds like allot more work than simply just getting the vehicle shipped. Over a 1000 mile...

    Ordered Winter Tires

So here's the situation. After my car being at the dealer for about a month, they finally figured out whats going on, but I have to admit I'm not happy with the result. The issue is indeed caused by the slightly different diameter of the rear wheels caused by putting a slightly narrower tire...

    Ordered Winter Tires

Still unsolved. Still at the dealer.

    Ordered Winter Tires

Its still in the shop. They've not been able to diagnose it. It could be the differing diameter issue. That really shouldn't cause and issue with the re-gen though, or atleast I'd hope not. Unless the wheels are actually slipping, it shouldn't reduce the braking power.

    November Update,...free?

Tom, Thanks. I called the i Congierge. They indicated that a bulletin was coming out in a few days to the dealers letting them know that the updates are supposed to be free. Doesn't necessarily help me yet, but I think it's going to take them a while to figure out the other issue with the car as...

    November Update,...free?

It was my understanding that the November update was supposed to be free. My dealer is telling me that have to charge for it. Can anyone point me to the official BMW statement on it? Thanks.

    Ordered Winter Tires

Still having the problem with the Re-gen. I'm taking it into the dealer this evening. I will keep you all posted.

    Ordered Winter Tires

Yes, I under stand all that. I've had the car for over half a year under a wide variety of driving circumstances. This happens whether the battery is completely full or partly empty, on flat or hilly ground, fast or slow, straight or turning. I.E. It's happening all the time. I'ts not a matter...

    Ordered Winter Tires

And now the Regen seems to be working properly. I'm still waiting for a call back from BMW on what might have caused it.
