    Traffic jam assist retro

I don’t suggest going up to 50 MPH. You will experience a LOT of weaving from left to right in the lane. To an outside observer, it will sort of look like a drunk driver. I don’t think the system is very smooth beyond about 40 MPH. But to answer your question, you need to convert to HEX. 50...

That looks right to me. You’ve got the system active from BMW’s point of view. In order for the steering wheel to appear, the right conditions must be met: -Driving on a street or freeway with visible lane markers -A car must be in front of you for your car to follow -You must be driving no...

Glad to hear you were able to get in contact with him, and that nothing ‘funny’ is going on! You’ll love the new functionality the module provides. Works perfectly in my opinion.

I never had a problem reaching him. I thought he was amazingly helpful, to be honest. He didn’t strike me as someone trying to rip anyone off. Hopefully there is a good explanation.

Personally, I think installing the module from behind the fuse panel was not very difficult. Especially in a garage, it's not too hard or time consuming. Maybe the most complicated part is just the coding of the car. Even that's not really hard, especially if you've done other coding before...

So did you install the hardware yet? What part sounds painful? I was able to install the hardware using the 'behind the fuse box' method in around 20 minutes. It wasn't too hard, but I think the instructions & pictures maybe could be a bit clearer.

No, not a member. Don't use Facebook, believe it or not. Currently have no way to install the module, which is somewhat annoying...

Hello everyone, I just received my module today... With no instructions included in the box. Does anyone have an accurate and easy to follow list for installing the module itself, and the coding required? Thanks in advance.

    Traffic jam assist retro

All other factory driver assist systems require some sort of an attention check. Generally, you must keep your hands on the wheel. This 3rd party system cannot literally detect when our hands are on the wheel, thus we need to periodically press a steering wheel button. Why should we expect...

Coding the Range extended on the i3

Yes, it is easily accomplished. Not too difficult. You can even use your iPhone if you buy the appropriate WiFi adapter and software.

    Best mobile phone holder?

I attached my phone holder to the little side window (suction cup). Works well for me. Not perfect though, since the little window opens with the door. How do I attach pics to my post??
