:( Be careful at new locations- I had a problem charging my REx with OUC at my friend's garage overnight. All indications said vehicle was charging. However charge level started at 4% and went to 5% but then came down to 3% and stayed at that level all night. Had set i3 to charge immediately...
My first night of charging on the new I3 I picked up yesterday. Using the 120 V Occasional use cable, and a power meter, I see that the power draw is about 1250 Watts. Have not measured the voltage, but at 120V I should get north of 1400W since the cord is rated at 12 Amp.
Thoughts?
The USA i3 comes with a 110 Volt charge cord. Is it possible to either get a 240V charge cord in exchange or as an addition? Trying to avoid getting an EVSE for $600 or so.
I am leasing one without the parking package but would love to have the backup camera. The dealer said he has someone who can install it for $900, which is almost the price for the package. I decided to try the car without it before I go spending the additional money
Here is my lease deal for the i34 REx with sticker of $52,200. Located in greater Philadelphia area.
24 months, 10K miles per year. Downpayment of $3841 inclusive of all taxes. $315 per month. Taxes here are 9% on leases.
M3lover1: Congratulations on your (and Mom's) new i3. I presume they are MY2014. Would you mind sharing your location and the pricing and terms on the leases (including the sticker price?). Just trying to get an idea of what they are going for as I make up my mind.
Thanks
